- Seneca Middle School
- 7 hours a day/Monday-Friday, occasional evening hours as needed
- Start of second semester
Qualifications:
- Bachelors required, Master’s Degree (preferred) in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related field
- Training and experience in conflict resolution preferred
- Experience in working with adolescents required
- Ability to motivate non-traditional learners
- Ability to act as a role model
- Demonstrates skill and sensitivity in working with all members of the school community
Duties:
- Work with identified and eligible individual students who are “at risk” due to academic, social, emotional and/or behavioral issues, including conflicts with others at school
- Develops relationships, interventions and support to the at-risk student population
- Reviews academic and behavior goals and makes adjustments as needed
