Summary:
Seneca Middle School
7 hours a day/Monday-Friday, occasional evening hours as needed
Start of second semester
Qualifications:
Bachelors required, Master’s Degree (preferred) in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related field
Training and experience in conflict resolution preferred
Experience in working with adolescents required
Ability to motivate non-traditional learners
Ability to act as a role model
Demonstrates skill and sensitivity in working with all members of the school community
Duties:
Work with identified and eligible individual students who are “at risk” due to academic, social, emotional and/or behavioral issues, including conflicts with others at school
Develops relationships, interventions and support to the at-risk student population
Reviews academic and behavior goals and makes adjustments as needed
